Burj Khalifa – at the top

If you visit Dubai, you must visit the Burj Khalifa. The Burj Khalifa has been the tallest building in the world since 2010 with a height of 828m. 3 observation decks on the 124, 125 and 148 floors offer visitors a unique and unrivaled view of Dubai and the surrounding area. During the day, the glass façade glistens in the sun – at night you can see the architectural masterpiece sparkle from far away in the distance. On national holidays and New Year’s Eve, the building becomes a single art and fireworks display. The Burj Khalifa is located next to the Dubai Mall and visitors to the viewing platforms can only access it via an entrance in the basement of the mall.

The observation platforms

No observation deck in the world is higher and it is an uplifting feeling to drive up to the 125th floor in seconds, then change and take the elevator to the 148th floor. There, at the At the Top Sky Lounge, visitors will be able to enjoy snacks and drinks, and just what they’ve come for – a 360-degree view of Dubai and the surrounding area. Large windows and an outdoor terrace invite you to stroll. The length of stay on the 148th floor is a maximum of one hour, while in the 125 and 124 floor there is no time limit. In this two floors is the Observation deck. This is much more frequented than the Sky Lounge. However, every visitor is advised to visit both platforms. The difference in height offers completely different panoramas.

Tickets and visit times

Tickets can be purchased in advance on site as well as online or via the organizer. The day tickets are much more expensive. Therefore, the clear recommendation is to buy the tickets at least one day in advance or to order them online from home online tickets can then be picked up locally and are officially always valid for a pre-selected time. The selected times must be observed!

TiP: Book a Fastlane ticket, because depending on the travel time, the waiting times can be enormous !!

Ideal for a visit is the time between 17 o’clock and 19 o’clock. You can still see Dubai in the light, experience a wonderful sunset and can experience the Dubai Fountains at 19.30 clock at the foot of the tower. Since these times are very popular a timely advance booking is recommended.

What else is there to see?

Burj Khalifa is home to the world’s first Armani Hotel. A very stylish and exceptional hotel.

On the 122nd floor is the restaurant “At.Mosphere”. With a great dinner in the highest restaurant in the world you can experience a breathtaking view over Dubai.
