Hotel Melchior Park – a very nice hotel for a stay in Würzburg
The 4-star Superior Hotel Melchior Park opened in Würzburg in September 2017. The hotel is located above Würzburg overlooking Würzburg. Located close to the city center, the hotel adjoins the Landesgartenschaugelände and the campus of the University of Würzburg. As the hotel is relatively new, the navigation systems take visitors through a residential area with a range of Tempo 30 zones, so access to the hotel requires crossing a busy street. Inhabited was a standard room on the first floor, which fulfilled the features and was very quiet in the direction of the park. The room and bathroom were spotless and clean. The use of the minibar was included in the room rate, with the contents limited to a vial of mineral water, beer, cola, and apple juice. Storage space for clothes was also sufficiently available.
Breakfast is served in the main restaurant next to the lobby. A rich breakfast buffet with regional products and a live cooking station for egg dishes is offered. The dining area is focused on the right rear corner and seemed a bit confusing.
The spa was not visited. He is described by other guests as small but adequate. The slippery floor covering was criticized.
