It’s not for nothing that Hong Kong has been ranked one of the top 5 most visited cities in the world. The dynamics and growth of Hong Kong and China are also reflected in the prices. Hong Kong is now one of the most expensive cities in the world. This also applies to hotel prices. The visitor can select from thousands of hotels of any color.

Ozo Wesley Hong Kong

Ozo Wesley Hong Kong* is located directly on the busy Hennessy Road on the edge of Wan Chai on Hong Kong Island. The MTR stations Admiralty and Wan Chai can be reached on foot in approx. 8-10 minutes. Directly in front of the hotel, there is a bus stop with which you can reach all the important points on Hong Kong Island. There is also a tram stop about 100 m away. 

The entrance hall is very modern. Besides the reception, there is a waiting area with iMacs, and snacks and drinks can be bought.

The Rooms

The available rooms are distributed between 6 and 14 floors. Standard rooms, superior rooms, and suites are available. On the 6 – 9 floor are the standard rooms, which are relatively small with 20qm, but correspond to the Hong Kong standard. The rooms are divided into living rooms and bathrooms. In the living room, there is a sitting area with a table.

The room we lived in was on the 6th floor. It was quiet despite the location on the street. However, the room was used and only partially clean. Unfortunately, this has continued also in the bath.

The room has a safe, kettle, and hairdryer.

The food

Optionally, breakfast can be booked for 19€, which is offered in a breakfast room on the 1st floor in buffet form. The guest can choose between classic egg dishes or Continental Breakfast, as well as Chinese or Indian breakfast. The service is good and always endeavored. The bottom line is that the surcharge for breakfast is worth it to start the day.

Surroundings

Within 5 minutes, there are many restaurants, bars, and cafes in the Wan Chai district. For a quick beer, the White Stag in Lockhart Road or a hamburger under Locals to Honbo is suitable. A 7Eleven Store, a dry cleaner, and a coffee shop are right next to the hotel or can be reached in 2 minutes.

Bottom line

The Ozo Wesley Hong Kong captivates by its perfect location in Wan Chai, the excellent traffic connections, and good price-performance ratio. But you can overlook the weaknesses in-room service.
