The Centurion Lounge Hong Kong is located in Terminal 1 of Hong Kong Airport on Level 7 near Gate 60. After passing the security checkpoint, go to the gates and take the escalators leading to Gates 40-80. An elevator takes you to the seventh level. The Centurion Lounge is on the right hand side and can be easily recognized by the blue entrance doors. Nearby are the lounges of the United Club, Emirates, Thai Royal Orchid and the Plaza Premium Lounge.
The Centurion Lounge is open daily from 5:30am to 00:30am.
After the entrance area you pass a conference room (8 seats), a meeting room (4 seats) and a private telephone room on the right side before you reach the actual lounge.
In the left corner there is a semi-private high counter and a few dozen wire chairs spread across the dining and bar areas. The overall design is modern and unspectacular. All in all, the lounge can comfortably accommodate around sixty people, including the row of chairs at the bar. Unfortunately, functionality is at the expense of comfort. The chairs are not really comfortable and ergonomic.
The lounge also has a separate area reserved for Centurion card members. The menu offered there is designed by chef Lau Yiu Fai of Yan Toh Heen in the Intercontinental Hong Kong. ( see homepage )
Food & Drink
Breakfast is served from 5:30-11:30 and offers a mix of Western and Asian dishes. Lunch is also served with a mix of Asian and Western dishes. Everything makes a very fresh and high-quality impression and it is permanently refilled. The quality of the food is high and the taste is good. The bottom line is higher quality than in the neighbouring Preium Plaza Lounge.
A highlight is certainly the large bar, which offers a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails.
